Bicycle crunches are a great way to work your abdominal and core muscles once you get the hang of them. In our opinion, there are only a handful of exercises more effective than this variation of crunches. Focus on completing each repetition in a slow and controlled manner rather than quickly pounding through the set.

  1. Concentrate on completing each rep in a slow and controlled manner while concentrating on contracting your abs.
  2. Focus on driving your shoulder to your opposite knee.
