Exercise Description and Instruction:

This Weight Training Exercise is a variation of the Tricep Kickback and also uses a dumbbell and kickback motion to isolate your triceps. 

To Perform This Exercise:

  1. Sit on the edge of a bench with your feet flat on the floor and a dumbbell in your right hand.
  2. Bring your right arm up to your side so that your biceps and triceps are are almost parallel to the bench. Keep your elbow at this height throughout the exercise.
  3. While keeping your left arm vertical, press your right arm back by extending your arm and bending at the elbow.
  4. Return to the starting position, repeat for the prescribed number of reps, and switch arms.

Tips:

Focus on keeping your elbow in a fixed position throughout the exercise.
